Kale Tournaments are a new way to compete, earn points, and engage with your favorite brands without needing to complete a full video challenge. Whether you’re tagging brands, posting to socials, making purchases, or just staying active on Kale, every action helps you climb the leaderboard. Anyone can join, and top performers win prizes! Here’s how it works.
What are tournaments?
Tournaments are interactive competitions that run for a set period of time. Every time you complete an action, such as leaving a comment, connecting a social account, or making a purchase, you earn points. Your total points determine where you sit on the leaderboard. When the tournament ends, the highest-ranking creators win prizes from the brand hosting it.
How to Join a Tournament
You can find all tournaments in the Earn tab. This includes live, upcoming, and past tournaments. It’s easy to join!
Tap Join Tournament.
If the tournament is already live, points from actions you complete during the live window will automatically count.
If the tournament has not started yet, you will see a countdown timer until the start time.
What Are Actions?
Actions are tasks you can complete to earn points. Examples include:
Tagging a brand
Posting Instagram Stories
Making a purchase with a connected card
Completing a challenge on TikTok
Tap an Action Card to see clear instructions for that specific task.
Important notes:
Points from TikTok mentions may take up to 24 hours to appear.
Purchases require a connected card through Plaid, and may take up to 24 hours to show in your history.
Actions completed through connected social accounts will automatically award points once detected.
How to Complete Actions
You can swipe through Action Cards to explore available tasks.
Swipe left to move an action to the bottom of the stack
Swipe right or tap to open instructions
After completion, your points and activity history will update automatically
Once the timer reaches zero, winners are notified and sent their rewards. All other participants receive a notification with their final rank and can hold onto their points for future rewards.
